As per Sanatan Dharma all life is an illusion — the external world is an illusion. The real world lies within — the truth lies within. Once you attain self-realisation and journey on the inner path, you are on the journey towards unity — external life is based on duality, in the inner life you discover the beauty of unity — you find out that you are one with the universe. Once you get a taste of the inner the outer will hold no interest. You will just witness the outer life as it happens while remaining in the moment.
